This independence is officially recognized by ministerial approvals:
- Approval of the Ministry of Equipment, Housing and Land Management for the technical control of buildings in category A: all types of buildings and engineering structures.
- Approval of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, for the regulatory technical inspection of safety in electricity, lifting, pressure vessels, gas installations, gas pipelines, oil pipelines and any technical control aimed at the protection of workers.
- Approval of the Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies FTUSA for several types of expertise and for the advice and prevention of fire risks.
- Approval of the Ministry of Professional Training and Employment for training in technical fields.
